ARE YOU BRAVE?
“The presence of a BRAVE man in the hour of danger is a very great comfort to his companions.” ARE YOU BRAVE??
Wherever we are placed, wherever we find ourselves in the journey of life…we are to have courage, we are to be led by the Holy Spirit, and we are to be strengthened by KNOWING our God!!! How do we find this courage, how do we find this strengthening and leading? The only way we can be of good courage and render encouragement to others is to be strong ourselves!!! We are called to “be of good courage” and ignite that hope and courage in others!! The apostle Paul is quoted as saying…“I believe God”. It does not say I believe IN God. There’s a clear difference!!! Remember, the devil and his cohorts believe in God to. It’s the “believing”, the “trusting”, the “knowing” God that gives us strength and courage! The apostle Paul was strong because he believed HIS GOD!!! We have to come to a place where we believe HIM, believe his TRUTHFULNESS, believe HIS word that he has spoken, believe in HIS mercy and grace that is available to all of us as His children. In the book of Revelations chapter 19 verse 11 and 16, Paul says, “Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse (all us horse lovers are yelling yippeee right now…haha). And HE (JESUS) who sat on Him was called FAITHFUL AND TRUE….And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS”. THAT is who our Lord is!! He is faithful, He is True, He is the Lord of all!! The faith of God’s children is the faith that can see in the dark, that can be calm in the tumultuous times, the faith that can sing in the midst of sorrow and discouragement! We are the KINGS KIDS…..LET’S STEP INTO OUR ROLES WE’VE BEEN SUMMONS TO!!!
Psalm 62:5, “My soul, wait thou only upon God, for my expectation is from HIM“!!!
