Where in the World??

Howdy guys!!!! Hope all of you have been well and enjoying your summer, unusual as it is.

So, I just wanted to throw out a little reminder about our position as christians in this very different season of life we find ourselves in. I’ve been hearing and seeing A LOT of conversation about the government, politics, the election, “conspiracy theories”, Covid19, the vaccine, deceit and lies from every angle possible. I’m so over it and you should be to!!! PUT DOWN YOUR PHONES, GET OFF YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA, STEP AWAY FROM THE TV and GET FOCUSED!!!! Stop talking about all the “junk” and “fear” and “chaos”!! “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks”!! What has filled your soul lately?? Are you talking about the things of God or constantly talking about what “they” (whoever they are) the media, the experts, the professionals are saying?? Here’s the deal……we, as the children of the MOST HIGH GOD, CREATOR OF ALL (that includes…..ALL THINGS AND ALL PEOPLE) have ONE position….. JESUS CHRIST CRUCIFIED. It should be what we live by…. it should be what guides our decision making and direction in life. It should be our VERY FOCUS each and every day for EVERY BELIEVER AND IT SHOULDN’T MATTER WHAT’S GOING ON AROUND US! Matthew 28:18-20, “And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “ALL AUTHORITY has been given to ME IN HEAVEN AND ON EARTH (please catch that). GO therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit (this should clarify the idea that we can all pray to whatever God we choose and it’s “all the same”(that’s a different teaching), teaching them to observe (do) all the things I have commanded you!!” Just because the world is upside down, spinning out of control, with more chaos than ever seen before….WE, the children of the KING, should be steady, peaceful, and FOCUSED!!! FOCUSED on what we are here for!! The GREAT COMMISSION!!! THESE WORDS….”GO AND MAKE…” were the very last words of Jesus to the disciples before His Final ascension to the Father. WE are His disciples!!! Are you doing the work of the Father? Have you stayed focused on what we’ve been commissioned to?? Everyone knows that in every good speech or any motivational speaking…..you ALWAYS ALWAYS end with the CRUX (most important point) of the speech!! Jesus could have said so many different things as He was departing… but HE DIDN’T!!! He said GO….DO….!!! So in regards to our societies pathetic mess we find ourselves in…..Let’s do what Jesus said and continue to go and do!!! Please understand I am not saying stick your head in the sand and pretend nothing is going on. But lets look at it this way…..Let us be the ones putting 90% of our attention into our great commission, and when we do that, the remaining 10% of the worlds chaos will be very very clear!!! If we fill ourselves with THE TRUTH and let it saturate our souls, the Holy Spirit will guide us and navigate us through all the mess! Put it this way, to the degree you fill yourself with God and HIS TRUTH is the degree you will walk in wisdom, peace, and guidance!!! ADJUST YOUR FOCUS!!!!
