A Shift
Howdy Gang! Hope you all are remaining peaceful and joyful during this time of separation. Us girls from Rise Up women’s ministry will continue to pray and expect to see God in all the quagmire and chaos!! HE IS PRESENT!!
I often get the question, “How do I know I’m hearing God”? Or “What if I think it’s God and it isn’t”? Or “What if I make a mistake”? Let me assure you every christian has asked those questions! First, let me say this, I always tell my girls (my own daughters and those I’m ministering to) that “God is not trying to trick us, or stump us, or complicate our relationship with Him!” He is a big God and He is always speaking but sometimes we get lost in the frenzy of “needing an answer” and we find ourselves “trying” to decipher what God wants us to do. He’s a little paradigm shift that will help you. Instead of trying to trust ourselves that we are hearing one way or another, why don’t you shift your position to trusting that GOD WILL SPEAK TO YOU! Ya see, the pressure of the guiding is on God! Romans 8:14, “For all who are allowing themselves to be led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God.” Catch that guys, “allowing ourselves to be led”……that means someone is leading and it ain’t you! Remember, Jesus is the shepherd and we are His sheep, the sheep follow the shepherd!! So stop making your spiritual endeavors so complicated. Take the focus off trusting in your ability to hear and focus on HIS UNENDING DESIRE TO “LEAD YOU IN PATHS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS!!” Keep it simple, tell God you trust Him to speak to you and show you and then leave it to Him. I promise He will make it VERY clear and obvious to you!

Ephesians 3:19, “That you may really come to know practically, through experience for yourself the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge without experience; that you would be filled through all of your being unto all the fullness of God, that you have the richest measure of HIS DIVINE PRESENCE, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself!!!” IT’S IN KNOWING HIM THAT WE LIVE!!
