Fierce Apprehension
As I read this morning and reflect on things, the many “obstacles” that I’ve been encountering in the past month, I am stirred at the boundless, limitless power of our Heavenly Father!!
In the past few months our RISE UP women’s meetings have been gaining great momentum in the fierce apprehension of God’s LOVE AND PROVISION for His children!! We, actually our incredible Afton, has taken it upon herself to manage our emailing prayer request/victory reports, and God is “Wowing” us!! As fast as the prayer requests come in….the email goes out….the “lionesses” join together in a FIERCE stance against the enemy! Even now, as I write this I received a call about a complete MIRACLE!! Glory to God!! We stand not as timid, hopeful, wounded women, but as FIERCE AND FEARLESS for the “territory” God has so graciously endowed us with!! That territory is our circle of family, friends, and all those that He puts in our paths.
We ALL have “territories” to protect, preserve and teach. Like I have always told my children…..”life is NOT about YOU”. “Like a lion, Israel crouches and lies down; like a lioness, WHO DARES TO AROUSE HER”??(Numbers 24:9) In our meetings we have been digging into the mission of what is our job as women (Lionesses), and how radical is our love to raise, protect, and provide for the ones whom our Father is entrusting us with? Our revelation of the Father’s love and care for us has to develop into a divine understanding, A FULL CONFIDENCE IN HIM AND HIS LOVE FOR US. Our future and the future our families, and those He’s placed in our sphere of influence completely depend on HOW WE RELATE TO OUR FATHER!!
Understand this, our futures, our provision, our protection, our destinies, are 100% based on HIM. Not you, your performance, your great efforts, or your huge amount of knowledge spiritually! As we have FULL CONFIDENCE IN THE ALMIGHTY GOD we lose sight of us, our weaknesses, our unqualified natures and rest in Him. If we truly, I mean undoubtedly KNOW HE IS TRUSTWORTHY, then when the enemy raises up his ugly head….. WE RISE UP LIKE A LIONESS ON THE PROWL AND PROTECT ALL WHO ARE IN OUR CARE BECAUSE WE KNOW THE KING OF KINGS HAS GOT THINGS COVERED!!!!
RISE UP…..IT IS TIME WE LOOK LIKE WHAT HE CREATED US TO BE!!
“These people RISE UP like a lioness, like a majestic lion rousing itself. They refuse to rest until they have feasted on their prey…” Numbers 23:24) Notice it’s a group effort (one accord) ….NO SOLO ACTS HERE!!!!
