Your Everything

What motivates you to prayer? Need? Uncertainty? Calamity? Fear? Thankfulness? Have you ever stopped and pondered actually when you do go to God and why you do?  Did you know we are to go to God our Father for EVERYTHING? All needs, all concerns, all wisdom….everything!! That very familiar scripture in the book of Philippians 4:6, “Don’t worry about ANYTHING; INSTEAD, pray about EVERYTHING. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He HAS done. THEN you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus!”  We are to pray about everything! I literally take that to the bank guys! I pray even about what some would consider silly things! I talk to my Father as if  He were physically with me.  I trust Him to take care of all things for me! The more I allow Him that place of control over my life the stronger and more confident I become in my knowing of HIS FAITHFULNESS!!!  Prayer, talking with Him, sharing our inner most thoughts and feelings deepens our AWARENESS of Him in our lives! It causes us to become more sensitive to his presence and deepens our relationship with Him! It’s the same in our friend and family circles …. the more we are around one another the more we truly KNOW their faithfulness toward us!  So take all your “EVERYTHING” to Him… He wants you to be burden free… He wants to be your everything!! Ya know that ol’ saying….”Let go and let God”? Well? What are you waiting for???
