Havsies….

Ok, so there’s really no such word as havsies….but ya know when you were a little kid and you had something you were gonna share with a friend….you’d do “havsies”…..split it up??? Each got a piece or portion? Each piece COMPLETED the whole.
Well, more recently my husband and I were out on a beautiful motorcycle run with some friends of ours. Now, those of you that ride know there is LOTS of thinking, praying and just talkin’ to God time…. it’s a perfect time to reflect on God’s goodness and all He’s spoken to your heart!
I got to thinking about the amazing GRACE we all have available to us… yet, so many Christian’s do not have any idea about grace at all! God tells us in His word (His instruction book) in 2 Corinthians 12:9 Paul is speaking….he says, “but He (God) said to me, MY grace is sufficient for you (my lovingkindness and mercy is more than enough- always available- regardless of the situation); MY POWER IS BEING PERFECTED (AND IS COMPLETED) and shows itself most effectively) in YOUR WEAKNESSES.” What is Paul saying to us? He’s trying to help us understand HAVSIES! He’s trying to get us to the point of understanding God completes us, filling in any and all voids, weaknesses, and lack!!
Here’s how it works gang…..
Grace is a free gift…. yes free! ALL YOUR WORK AND PRESS AND STRIVING IS NOT WELCOME here! Grace is unmerited -NOT DESERVED – but we get it anyway. As my good friend Dawn would say… HPL “Hallelujah Praise the Lord”!!!!  So, understand this, no matter how little or how much ability we have in any situation, HE’S got the rest! HE COMPLETES it!! HAVSIES!!!
He makes up for what we lack! If we have 40% ability to offer, HE makes up the remaining 60%. If we only have 2% ability to offer…. HE makes up the remaining 98%! HPL!!! Hallelujah Praise the Lord!!!

HIS idea of HAVSIES!!! God is NOT waiting til we “have enough faith”….He is NOT waiting til we push and strive and press to grassssssssp that 87 1/2% ability to step in!!!  HE IS OUR PORTION (Lamentations 3:24). Gotta love that!!! No matter how the scale is tipped, HE COMPLETES us for every situation and call …. empowering us to PREVAIL!!!!
HAVSIES what an undeserved, but most spectacular gift!!! Thank you our amazing Father!!!
