Raging Waters

When we make a conscious decision that we are not only just following God but pursuing HIM and our destinies…. well, IT GETS A LITTLE BUMPY!
“The trying of your faith worketh patience!” God gave me a little picture I want to share with you… Our lives when we resolve “I’m all in” looks a lot like white water rafting … you start out on a this journey and the banks of the river and fresh air appear refreshing and CALM…. slowly strolling through life … then you come to that pivotal deciding point…. so your once calm, serene waters are now turning into rushing, wild, tumbling, loud chaos…. and if you haven’t tied everything and everyone down In The raft …. well, they will get tossed out into the raging waters and make it very difficult to RESCUE. It’s LOUD with all that rushing water …. HARD to hear with all the crashing and chaos… hard, almost impossible to STAND (like the Bible tells us)! It’s hard to see with all the splashing water. But, if we have the right equipment on (the Armor of God) and we hang in there…. we ride it out and the waters begin to settle and calm and we can hear and see clearly… God WILL GET YOU THROUGH the raging waters… the enemy of your soul likes to churn things up…. toss your raft around, but we have a savior that’s got your raft and everyone in it… so on this winding river way of DESTINY… KNOW that God’s got this!!! He promises !
