Lose Your Self

Isaiah 47:8 God is speaking to Babylon….the Babylonian mentality was “it’s all about me” and nothing else is important…. self- absorption is the flavor of the day in our society…..look at any magazine , look at any commercial, listen to most conversations….”I will live onto myself, I will please myself, everything is about me and MY WORLD”

In our Christian walk we are to live unto Christ not unto ourselves it’s not about our agenda …. and the beauty of it is when you take yourself out of the equation and you live onto others and you REALLY lose your self (prefer others and their needs before your own ) that’s when you are really truly  free and full of the peace of God!!!!

So, Quit trying to “find your self” …..LOSE YOURSELF and come as you are – broken, selfish,  tattered and sinful and live unto others …… that’s when real life begins!!
