Armor- Sword of the Spirit

Ok Gang,
The last piece of spiritual armor/equipment we’ve been given is the “the sword of the Spirit, which is the WORD of God” (Ephesians 6:17)
This is the piece of equipment that takes us into an aggressive OFFENSIVE stance!!!!
In The Greek there are two words for “word” here, one is logos which means council, reason, or to assess the truth, the other is Rhema which Paul is using here which specifically means a word that is SPOKEN.
In your daily world …. with all the frustrations, all the struggles, all the decisions and choices … Are your words that you are saying agreeing with what God says about the situation before you???
(Psalm 91)
“…. I find REST in the shadow of the Almighty….”
“…..He is my REFUGE”
“….. He is my God, I trust Him!!”
“….He WILL RESCUE me from every trap!”

 (1 John4:4)   “Greater is He (Jesus Christ) that is in me than he (Satan and his cohorts) that is in this                                world.”

(Isaiah 54:17)  “No weapon formed against me shall proper.”

(Romans 8:16)   “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are  children of God!”
These words are your sword!!! Get aggressive and Speak the word of God …. don’t idly stand by and be defeated!!! You are a born fighter!!! Now get busy sharpening your sword!
