Armor- Sheild of Faith

Eph 6:14
“Above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.”
The Bible makes it clear that our warfare is not against physical forces but is defined in the structure of the invisible realm – God instructs us to put the whole armor of God on in order to maintain a battle stance (our “shield of faith”) against these unforeseen attacks!  In other words he saying pay attention, pray for protection (Psalm 91) and KNOW GODS WORD AND PROMISES!!!  Fill your faith tank so you will have fuel for the battle! How do we do this??
The Bible says TAKE UP the shield of faith … That means it’s our job to get up and to get to know what the word of God says about our protection over our families, our children, our jobs, our minds, wills, and emotions!!
In the Roman legions there are two kinds of shields – a small round shield and a large oval shield – the one referred to here is the long oval shield designed to protect EVERY PART of you and your life!!! Get into the Bible – God’s Word- and learn about His promises for every area of your life!!!   That is where WISDOM begins and God’s faithfulness is experienced in your life!
