Armor- Feet Shod With The Gospel

Ephesians 6:15
“For Shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News of the Gospel so that you will be FULLY PREPARED.”
The third piece of Armor emphasizes PEACE AND PREPAREDNESS.
Peace comes from God. In the book of Isaiah the fourfold name and attributes of the Child (Messiah) are given…the Prince of Peace is one attribute of our Majestic God and Father. Isaiah 9:6 tells us that God is waiting to instill the SETTLEDNESS of HIS own rule in our souls (remember that your soul is your MIND, WILL, and EMOTIONS)
Doesn’t SETTLEDNESS sound AMMMMAAAAZZZAAAZZZZINGGG??? (for those that have ever watch “The Bench Warmers” movie….)
True and complete surrender to God’s will and submission to His Word always brings inner peace….
Our peace comes from the GOOD NEWS – God’s Word.
Spend time in the word of God!! In “the good news” we find direction, correction, answers, love, and true complete PEACE!!
